    Default head porting...

    It looks like this is a primary spot for Hondas...since I have a S2000, I guess I can post a thread....lol

    But not a Honda question....
Is there somewhere that is known for head porting? i have a vr6 in my 91 Jetta and want to let it take deeper breathes...I have tons of people telling me that they know someone who will do it for $300, but i would rather pay a professional to do it right than pay "a buddy" to fawk up my head!! It doesn't have to be a German shop..Just one that can do the work to my specifications!...thanks

There is a guy in Hiram that is a Air Cooled VW speciallist. He builds a ton of high power VW's. He is a pro at P&P and even has a flow bench (a must for P&P). I am not sure if he wants to do a water cooled head but you can always ask. He has done some heads for me in the past but I will tell you that he is very backed up and it is best to have a extra head. Also, we use DFE in Jaskson ville to do our Honda heads. I can check to see if he will do a VW. Later.
