go to fj distributors and get the sohc build it with eagle rods and vitara pistons. for like 350. and come with other gaskets and thing then just get arp head studs and it will be a good dd. hondata is not needed youll be good on crome

    http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/Eagle...Q5fAccessories

here is a link to my brothers on ebay....he is asking $260 for his set up brand new still in the box ..and his buy it now is like $300 .....prob. the cheapest you will find the rods alone cost $320 plus shipping

pistons came from fj distributors and rods came from xenocron

d series are meant for power, i must say.
their only weak points are the rods.
d series head flows! no need for head mod
upgraded piston would be great but no need.

spray that sucker like im doing mine l0l
-oh and robert. the only thing wrong with the y8 is a spun main bearing. the crank will also need to be turned. other than that, it'll run.

    450 injectors
.20 over unless your block is good for stock bore
Stock rods and pistons or vitara/eagle if you really want too.
    suggest headstuds
T3 turbo like super 60 or t28 disco potato
    yes stock head is fine

Honestly you can make 250 stock its all about tuning and be reliable. Good luck
but if you do go this route I suggest headstuds.

if you plan on building the bottom end, i wouldnt run the eagles w/ the vitara pistons. it makes the compression too low, you should run the FJ custom length rods........

true the compression will be lower than 9:1 yet you should have no problem making power. i ran my vitara h-beam set up with stock sleeves and a fully built head and it dynoed at 369whp and 299tq. on 93octane. You are still able to make descent number.

If you are going to just build the bottom you should have no problem hitting 250whp and it being "reliable" as long as you have a good tune, yet if you want more hp the cam would be the next thing you need to look at, and most cams require upgrades to the springs and valves. also fueling would become another issue so plan for the future and not the now. It could save you a couple hundred bucks in the long haul.

Yea but if you know that the FJ rods will be better then the eagles, why would you run them? They are around the same if not cheaper then the eagles. The numbers you made with your fully built head are very close to what i made on my stock head, most likely because i had higher compression then you. oh yea and my bore was bigger too, lol......

4.Production of rods take 5 weeks + 2 additional weeks for shipping
to us,receiving and accounting for inventory and then ship out
    to customer.

that's why i used the eagle and you would also have to wait for a "batch" (a min. of 10 orders)- no telling how long it would take for them to fill their order requirements. (i would say a another 2-3 weeks, my buddy had to wait almost a month plus the additional 7weeks to get it. If you ask me I say bump that, that's alot of down time for me to go without blowing off ..... .......haha and the bigger bore:boobies:...lol the truth is coming out.
