2.0 really isnt that small for todays FI engines. and i didnt mean higher compression i meant stock. and a small turbo only helps your low end power. why wouldnt you want to increase top end, thats where yer motor shines anyways? i wouldnt want a turbo that reachs threshold far to low in the power band and dies out b4 it makes any real power. sure your going to accelerate alot faster outta the hole, but run outta breath far too soon and have a real flat spot in your power curve. not to mention the kind of heat it would produce at higher RPM's do to greater back pressure. and with all the technology in turbo's today (ie ball bearings) their really isnt an issue with lag anymore like there used to be. plus small turbo's that spool too fast on a FWD car = wheel spin hell <---i would know lol.
