well that high compression actually helps the bottom end power b4 that turbo is fully spooled. if you were to drop the compression and raise boost pressure you might kill your throttle responce. i would think a nice 8-10 psi on a larger gt28-30 turbo with some top end would make it quite the rocket tuned with a nice standalone. most race motors using forced induction run a fairly high rate of compression, grated no where near N/A campaigns (14.1 +) but still higher than your stock motor most likely. its all tuning
