237mph Gen Coupe???!!!
So we have a friend who claims his Genesis coupe can do 237mph.
I had to post on this because the way he explained it to us,he actually expects us to believe this claim.
He claims his car can go this fast with a "tune", exhaust and intake! bwhaha.
He wont prove it, only says that the only person whos opionion matters is his.
Just had to rant on the stupidity of this.Please let me hear all your feed back on how stupid this is.

Everyone knows the aerodynamics of the Genesis coupe makes it unstable at any speed over 220mph. That's probably why he doesn't want to risk proving it until he gets a least a 5-point racing harness and possibly a bolt-in roll cage.

Gearing and engine rpms limit your top speed - not horsepower.
I had a friend that claimed he went 200 mph in his car, and then I showed him that it was mathematically impossible for his car to do it, even without any aerodynamic drag.
BTW - Hyundai says that the car has a top speed of 149mph. Perhaps your friend had his speedometer set to KPH?
