Default New rims and one is wobbling help!

I bought some used Enkies yesterday with some old tires that have a little dry rot. Only one of them has minor curb rash and a even more minor chip, I put it on and it shakes at 60+ and I can feel it wobble at slow slow speeds. I lifted my car up and spun the wheels and it rolls even doesnt look like its warped Is it just my tires? Is it warped? I think the tire has a little uneven wear on it could it be that? Thanks!

It sounds like your wheels need to be balanced. If that doesn't help, you may have a flat spot somewhere in on of the tires. Worst case scenario you have a warped wheel.

Do you have all of your hubcentric rings installed?

Yes I do, after my first drive on it the lug nuts were loose too. So i tightened them down and it was still wobbling. How do you fix a warped wheel? I can find my set online anywhere either. If i take it to Kaufman tire cant hey diagnose this for me?

Ive pretty much narrowed it down to a bent hub, can anyone help me with repair costs? I can get cheap labor.

If youre running on rotten tires, that could cause any number of problems. replacing them should be your first step.

2000 miata, they tires probably got 30% of life left. I can feel the wobble when I brake too. So I really dont think it's the tires, but they are getting replace soon.

You most likely need new tires. A lot of times people think their wheels are out of balance, but it is just their tires have different wear patterns.

Would I feel the wobble when I brake with uneven wear patterns?

Yes. If it only happend at braking, them it probably be the brake pads/rotors. But like you said, it is also happening with no braking.

Just get new tires or some good used ones (not from a person, from a used shop) and see if it improves. Most used tire places will be $100-$160 depending on size for 4 tires with 90+% tread including mounting/balancing.
