    Default Need advice

Ok friday night at 9:10p.m. I had just gotten off of work and was in my home eating dinner with my girl. I hear a loud bang so I go outside and these kids in my neighborhood had backed up into the passenger side quarter panel of my car causing major damage to the quarter. Well I exchange information with him, call the laws, and get in touch with my insurance company well long story short his insurance company has agreed to pay for all damages and has called me and told me to take the car anywhere I want and to call state farm back when I choose a place to do the repairs. Well I want to make sure the repair job is done right so I was wondering if anyone had any advice on a good/reputable body shop that takes insurance.

Also out of curiosity will my car be getting painted after the repairs?

Most all body shops do insurance work. In fact, most body shops ONLY do insurance work these days.

Not likely. They'll only paint the affected areas. Later, QD.

They will respray the damaged area and blend it in with your current paint job. Only way around it is if you can convince them the paint is so faded that there is no way to match the paint.

Worked for a friend of mine 7+ years ago. But his red car really was faded almost pink.

If the paint doesnt match up, you can take it back. I've taken my car back 3 times before because of the paint.

I had a place in Winder do ours after the deer ran into our rear quarter panel. They worked with insurance and gave us some good deals.
The work looked good and they only paint the damaged area.

The best in all of North Ga is Sis's Body Shop. He does everything right and doesn't mind you coming in to supervise or even help if you're not a douche. He primarily restores muscle car era vehicles but he also does insurance work. He had an MR2 there last time I was there. He's expensive but he is damn good.

Check it out. Here is the number 706-253-6213.

Thanks guys for the help, I went with one of state farms "guaranteed body shops" (Lifetime warranty on all work done as long as I own the vehicle) Took it to Abra auto body and glass and they did a good job, ended up cutting out the whole passenger side quarter panel and installing another one and only painted the passenger side of the car lol
