I DONT WANT TO SEE BLACK PAINTED HOODS TRYING TO MAKE PEOPLE THINK THAT IT IS CARBON.
I DONT WANT TO SEE BLACK PAINTED HOODS TRYING TO MAKE PEOPLE THINK THAT IT IS CARBON.
Black hoods have been around since the "muscle car days" and they never even thought of carbon fiber.
For 2011, I'd like to see less shit talking and judging of other people's ideas and a greater appreciation for the fact that we're all "Car Guys", no matter how different.
Let's work together.
Help each other, teach each other, learn from each other and and keep pushing the limits to bring this "scene" back to where it once was!
As for the "under 20 crowd", I'm 40 and welcome every chance to help/teach/learn everything I can AND get new ideas and perspectives that these younger guys have to offer.
Just call me DAD!
There's a difference between muscle cars and imports. The younger folks of today aren't painting their hoods black to emulate the olden days. They are doing it to make people think it's CF.
That's a pretty unfair and inane request. You're basically saying for everyone to like everyone else's car no matter how they doll it up. Just because people are in the same "hobby," doesn't mean they have to like other people's ideas. And why do people (for the most part) mod their car and post it up or take it to meets? So people can see them and get feedback. Just makes sense to me. Later, QD.

Not at all, QD.
We don't have to like it.
Just appreciate their effort and hard work, without all the shit talking and putting down that we see, way too often.
