    Default BOV on a Audi A4 1.8t quattro???? help needed

    ok my car comes of course stock with diverter valve. i want to install a bov on my can but i heard it can screw up the maf sensor readings. Is this true????? i have a APR tuned ecu. can this have an affect. some one please help

    from what i understand, its not healthy for your motor, or for the MAF. Plus, youll experience some pretty hard turbo lag, due to not having the recycled boost anymore.

    wrong. its done mainly for emissions, and noise supression. bov's, regardless if they recirculate are designed for these purposes. a bov hurts turbo response time.
