Default SUPERCARS...Not the same as sports cars.

A Ferrari F430 is NOT a super car.

    A McLaren F1 IS a super car.

A Porsche 911 turbo is NOT a super car.

A Lamborghini Murcielago IS a super car.

A GTR is NOT a super car.

    A Ferrari F40 IS a super car.

    A GT3 is NOT a super car.

A Dodge Neon ACR IS a supergay car.

A STI is NOT a super car.

    A Porsche 914 IS a shit car.

A Audi R8 IS NOT a super car.

    A Lamborghini Gallardo isn't either...

    ...but the Superleggera is useless.

The rules surrounding the usage of the words "a" and "an." Use the article "a" when the word following the letter "a" is a consonant. Use the article "an" when the next word begins with a vowel. Thanks, simon. Lolol. Later, QD.

Sometimes there are exceptions. Like the letter "h".

It's more if the first syllable begins with vowel sound; for example, "An STI is supercar (essTI)

Dodge Viper ACR is more of a supercar than a Neon ACR. Neon ACR was just a track prepped edition of the Neon.

I haven't really given this to much thought but basically I see it as....

If the car is a "faster" version of a slower car then it's not a super-car. There are exceptions though, maybe if the "slower car" is already ridiculously fast. A GT3 is a super C2 but not really a super-car. However, an F430 is not but a Scuderia is. A DB9 isn't, but a DBS is? What's a GT3 RS? I think it' still a Carrera but then again I think a DBS is a super car..
Price plays a huge role, but then again so do raw numbers. I think the exclusive factors outweighs both of them

In my book a super car has to be unreliable, fast, hard to drive, a bitch to get in and out of, TOTALLY impracticable to do anything with, and be stupid expensive.

From what I know the general definition includes stuff like the Gayron that combine speed/luxury at an exeptional level. But your definition is the way to go for me, that's what I would want if I dropped 250k+ on a car.

So where would the Ford GT fit into? It fails to meet 3 of those requirements and I've seen it put in the super car category, which I agree with.

    Mine's the red one.

So the barbie mustang fits all of the above. The wheels break on my daughters every 10 seconds, a total bitch to get in and out of, fast as fuck by scale, stupid expensive for what it is and totally impracticable as a learning tool as we all know women will never truly be able to drive.

This thread should be renamed Super Car and Hyper Car. The "sports cars" you just defined are indeed super cars and the super cars you just defined are "hyper cars".

    My car is factory....

Every single performance part and or modification it has was made in a factory somewhere.

A miata is not a sports car. It meets most of the requirements though.
