    Default what kind oil is best for a lexus is300?

    i know many is300 out there and they use different oil change but i dont know what kind they using? any help please?

    purpose intended for the car? Mods? Are you having any kind of problems with the oil you are using? What oil are you using? Give a little more details.

    i dont have any problem at all and i use the regular oil from shop, i just wonder is there any special oil is specialy for is300?

    I doubt it. The 2jz is like other piston engines and it shouldn't demand anything more special than the car next to you.
    As for viscosity, I would go with what the manufacturer recommends, which should be a 5w-30. If you want to treat your car, you can use a synthetic. Some brands that are worth noting are Pennzoil Platinum, Amsoil, and Redline.

    I always have and always will continue to use Full Synthetic oils, whether it be AMSOIL, Mobil 1 or the occasional RP.
