    I am not sure what the level of tolerance for boring the D17 has. I know that my B16 can only take an overbore of about 1mm at the very max on a stock sleeve. I would not really want to take it to that even. I'm sure someone can give you a tip on the 7th gen's capabilities to take an overbore. I would say doing a .030 over bore would be good b/c you can have the bore trued back up and honed which will take out any imperfections and make complete ring seal much more likely.

    yea I was thinking of a .025 overbore and going with the 10.8:1 compression, because I do not have to keep in mind that I am working with stock sleeves
