I think it is a very simple and clean design, and look good on just about every car they are placed on.
And it is important for me to have the spokes of the rim far enough apart where I can get my arm inside the wheel to clean them! and to show off your nice brake kits, and easily check your brake pads and calipers

Not to toot my own horn or anything, but I LOVE the wheels on my Alfa. Alessio Polar...I feel like they'd work on any car I owned.
I think polished looks best in terms of finish. Chrome is too bright, and painted wheels look a little too artificial. I like that anodized look.
