Ideas for a S13
A buddy of mine that goes to my school just bought a S13 for $800 with no motor in it and a recently re-built tranny. The thing is, he can't decide on what motor to put in it. The two main things considered right now are of course the SR20DET. But, he has a carbeurated 350 SBC motor in his garage out of his dad's Camaro race car. Could that possibly hook up to the stock 5-speed tranny and still fit right? Has anyone tried this before? Thanks for any help.
it will require tons of custom fab, and no it will not bolt to the 240sx tranny unless you use an adapter plate... but it would be pointless.

dont listen to em, they dont fuckin know. there is a company that sells a kit to put a sbc in an s13. you would need to find a chevy trans though, but trust me that would be alot cheaper than tryin to bolt chevy to nissan. the weight change would be similar to putting an rb into the car, which makes the 13s handle better. plus you would get more torque than an rb and the part would be dirt cheap.
