Is anyone familiar with an easy way to test

Ive got two of them on my system, and just recently I think one of them is stuck shut. The system barely vents anymore unless under extremely high boost, and during part throttle acceleration it seems to surge a bit and under hard accell.

disconnect, add about 10 psi of pressure to the nipple, and see if it opens. regardless of how much it opens up, it will vent.

That would be about the best way of testing it, but depending on what it is set to, you might have to go a tad higher.

i made an erroneous statement. at +10 psi it should not vent. at -10 psi it could vent, but some dont. cars equipped with a maf type system usually wont allow air into the system and some do.

add 10 to 20 psi of pressure, and see if it opens up to vent. depending on how much boost you run, you may need to tighten it down some.
