Thoughts on the Auto Show
Started yesterday and runs through the 28th I believe.
Pros:
- Better turn out of manufacturers than last year, with the exception of some, and way better than 2 years ago.
- Audi R8 V10 Spyder in the Audi booth, FUCKING SEX!!!!!!!
- LFA in the Lexus booth, matte black, yummy but not worth the money.
- CTS-V both sedan and coupe are rawrtastic, Converj concept is nice as hell.
- Jag XJ is fucking tits, so awesome on the inside.
- A couple of interesting modified cars in the Lexus booth.
- Buick Regal GS looks neato!
Cons
- No Infiniti, Nissan, Porsche or BMW at the show, at least today.
- Many vehicles weren't even turned on, so you couldn't experience nav systems, audio, etc.
- Highly lacking in the marketing materials departments, i.e. no cool posters and toys like in some years.
- Ford only had 1 2011 Mustang (5.0 GT Convertible), but it was roped off and you couldn't really check it out very well, which is a bummer.
Random Observation LOLs
- Most of the manufacturers were fairly busy with people, except Dodge/Chrysler/Jeep, it was like a ghost town there, and Toyota was pretty barren as well.
