    I wouldn't get an E30 because
    1. they don't get good gas mileage
    2. once you realize it's more fun then your Z, you won't be driving it slow

My E34 535i got 17mpg city babying it, 22 on the highway. My E30 is about the same but I rarely drive it slow

I'd look into used TDI Golfs. With some suspension work they are a blast to drive and are almost impossible to get poor mileage in.

I'd get an E30 but a 325E...mine got insane gas mileage.

They last forever, you don't even have to change belts or oil and they still last forever.

Actually, the E's do get really god gas mileage. I was referring to I's because I just prefer high revving motors unless i'm diesel pwwwwrrd
