Default Dump tube & oil feed line question

I have a 3' downpipe coming from my turbo, and a turbonetics wastegate with two flanges, one to connect the manifold & one for the dumptube i believe. I dont have a dump tube so is it ok if i can leave it open?

also on my oil feed adapter on top of my turbo i dont have the oval'ish adapter that mounts into the threads, its just a NPT to AN adapter. Is there support to be a ovalish bracket that goes over it? or is it fine to just run the oil line on it?

here's a pic of how it looks..

this is how its supposed to look..

am i fine without the bracket that goes over the NPT to AN adapter?

    no.....

you will prolly need a restrictor in there.....

a honda fuel rail banjo will thread in there nicely and look pretty good.... splice it in with some fuel injection hose 5/16 should work and put a restrictor inline......

you will need the dump tube like mentioned before because it will give you very noticable negative performance......

Can someone explain to me how a dump tube effects your performance, other than it helps route the dumped exhaust else where, so you don't have a huge fireball shot into your engine bay?

Hot exhaust being sucked up by the turbo.

i wouldjust make the dump tube into the DP. that way u wont have to find a way to route it and u wont have to worry about the flames burning anything

no restrictor needed on that turbo with a -3

as for the dump tube, you only need one to keep your engine bay sane. an engine bay covered in carbon is impossible to clean up lol.
