There's two ways to go murdered out: style & class or aggressive performance...sometimes you can combine both.
Those look good. What people also forget is a "murdered out" car has to have some damn balls and look the part. There is nothing sinister seeing an all black sub compact. It doesn't have the same effect. Thus another fad that not everyone should do.
