Thread: American Built Imports

    Default American Built Imports

Anyone noticed that american built imports pure suck balls. My 2009 Honda Accord was built in American and it was crappy. Everything rattled and squealed. I was ready to set it on fire But driveaccord.com one member has a Japan built Accord and that was fine. Nothing wrong with it. And Im reading TIME magazine about the whole Toyota deal and in asterisk "For those models, cars whose VINs begin with J are not included. Anyone guess why? And one more thing also you noticed that before Honda and Toyota started to build plants in America ALL HONDAS AND TOYOTA were fine. Nothing wrong with em.

Hey man, DSM's were built here.

    Oh wait......

Seriously though, I blame the shittiness of the interior on it being built in America. All the other annoying things, I blame on Mitsubishi. Seems to run true with my stereotype of (most) American interiors.

My Rx-7 was assembled in Hiroshima Japan, and I am damn happy about it.

^^ Yeah, I drew a frame of a man running on each fan blade. That is him running at idle

    my 929 is all mazda!

but out sourcing parts always comes back to bite companies in the ass.

Mazda let another company make their LSDs int he mazdaspeed protege, and they turned out to be junk.

And honda let another company manufacture accord transmissions in 98 - 02...and that was a disaster..
