Default just wondering (b16 head/gsr block)

b16a head on a gsr block? i have a stock b16a and was wondering if that would be a good combo for a little more power.

its gonna be a budget build, so i was thinking just stock gsr bottom and then mainly work on the head. i was looking at omnipower valvetrain and blox cams.

The B16 head will lower your c/r.

came across a gsr bottom end and was just looking at my options. p30 pistons wouldnt help with the compression if i used my b16 head?

if you have a b16 and want more power, do it but the cr will be lower than with the gsr. but with p30 pistons you will be very happy with it. 11.2:1 cr with the p30's compared to the 9.8:1 with the stock gsr pistons with the b16 head.

Ctr pistons will make a 12.7:1 cr in this setup. P30's would be great. There are still quite a few differences in the real type R and the poor mans R. Mainly in the cylinder head area and a little more perfect bottom end. But it would be a good motor.
