WHO WOULD BE A GOOD TUNER FOR A SRT4??


ALSO IS IT BEST FOR A SRT4 TO BE TUNED AT 22 POUNDS OF BOOST OR 17 POUNDS?? I HEARD IF 22 IT WILL START TO LOSE POWER AT HIGH RPMS!!

it sounds like you dont know anything about the car. more info is needed if you want people to chime in and help you. i had mine at 24 psi and i didnt lose any power all the way to 6500 rpms.

Mainstream Has tuned SRT4'zz as well.

mainstream is pretty much the only place in GA that has experience in tuning the knee0ns and they are VERY good at it.

dont go over 18lbs untuned. get injectors and tune to run more boost. the turbo dies off making WHP after 20psi but keeps making WTQ. my black one tuned by mainstream make 297WHP and 360WTQ at 22psi. the turbo is too small to hold the boost. it will spike 22psi but by redline it will fall off to 15-16psi.

depends on the tuning device. I have ALOT of luck with email tunes for my diablosport. Im on 27psi on a big turbo kit no problems.

Mainstream has always supported the SRT-4 crowd since the beginning. For the SRT-4 folks who need a tune, I always send them to Mainstream.

Rush's car was tuned by Doug at TopSpeed the first time he came down here. I'm not sure who tuned it the second time though since Doug had to cancel that session due to OLOA but he made 603 whp (without the spray) the last time he was tuned IIRC.

Dan tuned it when Doug had to cancel. The turbo on that car was out of flow. Dan tuned another one for that same shop that made more power than Rush's car did though. I think the guys name was Dan

It made 450 whp on straight pump on Batlground's dyno back then and a bit more with C16. I don't know if it's the same car but the last I kept up with him, he was talking about sending the car back to get more work done. For whatever reasons, he got banned on the SRT Forums so there have been no more updates on his car since. LOL. Rush showed me some videos of that car when I met them.

You need to pm me. I have the diablo sport. Just don't have a good tune on it yet.
