When I said unique I did have BMW's in mind. I know v dubs have been rocking the rust look for a while. BMW's are starting to pick it up. And it was DEFINITELY influential. This car was the inspiration behind stanceworks.com which is full of people with stanced cars, many of which have been influenced by this e28. Now I'm sure you can argue your point all day. And I'm also sure all your nutswingers will back you up. I guess we'll just have to agree to disagree on this one.

I wasn't referring to BMWs or VWs as in "for a while." I was referring to old hot rods (rat rods and shit) doing this for a long time.

So it was ONLY influential in that the owner of the car started that site? How is that influential at all? And to who? I would say some cars may have been influenced, but I think that would be too much.
