Default A Stanceworks icon has passed.

Most of the stance guys know about this car. The infamous BMW E28 "Rusty" has officially let go.

All he's gotta do is get up with that austin fucker and have him reweld the entire car back together. Austin can take 2 cars and make one. He can damn sure weld up the cracking body of an e28.

How was it an icon?? It was just an icon to new people who don't know common euro trash modding ways.

Sometimes it doesnt take anything special about a car to make it so popular. I remember seeing this car for the first time in Helen. Its a Stance thing man!

I think he's just sayin you are critical of alot of stuff on here that is "stanced" or "hardparking" while you post in favor of cars setup for mostly track performance.

Some like it for looks, some for performance.

And don't be beefin on jettas!!!!

I see you live in Athens. Must not be attending Georgia with retarded sentences like these. Nice job though on presenting a sentence to further dissuade yourself from most on this site.

I loved the last setup it had, I wasn't a big fan of the totally rusted out look. But it was a cool car nontheless, and I don't think anyone has made an impression like that without dropping serious amounts of money into their car.

An icon? Lolol. Richard Petty's old NASCAR is an icon. KITT is an icon. The General Lee is an icon. The Porsche 356 is an icon.

A rusted internet "sensation" is not an icon.

I don't mean for my post to sound condescending if it does..sorry, dude.

    You did sound retarded.

Anytime you look at a person's grammar instead of arguing the point shows you have nothing meaningful to say.

Gonna give me a grammar lesson too?

It's cool, bro. However, the car was an icon to the StanceWorks forum; just as Jay's S2000 is to IA. I wasn't referring to it achieving the same status of the cars you mentioned - I should have clarified that in my post.

that car was huge, everyone knew it, and there isnt a clone of it. And without that car stanceworks prob never would have been created!

Not to take anything away from his car, I don't know about all that, lolol. I wouldn't call any car iconic to IA. If I absolutely had to make a choice, it would be Brett's Civic. Later, QD.

you post that car on any forum, and there will be people that know it, and love or hate it. When the car was put together there was no "that" scene thats y it was popular.

the car isnt a celebrity, and it wasnt on TV.. it was just a slammed rusty old bmw that made people angry.

and in the car world the internet can make cars very popular..like the bmw.
