rod bearings, got this from a very reliable source, dude i call Nissan, a co-worker that thinks that Nissans are the best things on earth, all his cars are nissans, completed a nissan course at school, he said something about rod bearings going bad with those engines, dont quote me on that, it was the first time i ever heard about that...
umm yeah... i probably have more nissan training then your friend. since i probably when to a more in depth nissan training and schooling. i havent hear of to many rod bearing failures... well thats unless you count the people that run it low on oil due to the oil consumption on some years and motors. and people drifting and other tortue type of driving... you might... MIGHT have a 1 in 1000 having some sort of issue completely caused by the manufacturer... probably more like 10,000 and not by abuse and maintenance.Originally Posted by semitas
