First hand I went to Scott and Mainstream, I would recommend him to anyone, especially if your rockin a boosted honda.

Scott. He tuned my car and many of my friends and my friends friends. Nobody ever complained about him. He makes sure that the tune is safe, and tries to get the most out of it.

meh, i've heard some iffy things bout him from some good ppl with some high hp cars. but he does know his honda's from talkin on the phone with him.

I would say those iffy people probably have an iffy setup that got tuned. Some people are quick to point the blame on someone other than themselves. Spoolin's been making 800+ to the wheels and has never had a problem. He knows how to build a reliable engine with good components and nothing is 1/2 assed and scotty's tunes are always spot on. As far as I know there are only 2 tuners in GA that have tuned any big power hondas, Scotty and Ed. You have to remember that its also not the tuners fault to make sure you keep up with basic maintenance.

ed at balanced performance hands down BUT i hear jjspec may be getting a dyno within a month or so if they do then jimmy at jjspec hands down he has street tuned a car that ran low 9's years ago and MANY that ran 10's and low 11's this past year something MANY havent accomplished on this board

I'ver heard many complains about him. A shit load of complains. I don't mean to bash or ruin people from doing there business but I just havent heard good from scotty that's all.

Not really a valid point here, the tuner doesnt make a car go fast.

its impossible to make everyone happy, scotty has way more positive than negative. I personally cannot see anyone having a bad experience with him. We have had TONS of cars tuned by him and never had a problem.

yea but the things i heard are about him acutally tuning the car not ppl cranking up the boost after then tune and half assing the build.

meh. u have valid points, dont get me wrong. Im by no means sayin scotty is a bad tuner. I'm just realyin info that i have heard and giving my suggestions

Had my teg tuned by Scott. I dont have any crazy built high HP motor, but Im more than happy with the tune that Scott did up for it.

Only have good things to say about him. Id suggeest him for any boosted Honda.

I know there are people that have complaints about Scotty. The F-ed Up thing about it is they never actually complain to Scotty himself. They just run their mouth but never try to get things worked out.

If I get something from Home Depot and I don't like it I don't just go tell everyone that it sucks. I GO BACK AND MAKE THEM FIX IT.

Back to OP, there are a few people in GA that can do a good tune on a Honda. Scotty, Dan, or Ed can all do it for you.

The guy at mainstream tuned my sr'd 240. The tune was dead ass on the little afr line. I think 11.8? All the way up out. I've gotten 2 tunes from them and have been very happy with them and the drivability of them.

I've heard that Ed working out of Balanced is a magician. There's also go-autoworks in Montgomery, if their dyno is working again.

This argument could go on until 2012 for all i care. Scotty tunes my shit, I track tune it. I've never had a problem.

Other people have never had problems with other tuners. If you aren't happy with a tune, which usually means it might buck or something when cruising, then have it adjusted, you paid for that right? Usually when people are unhappy with a tuner their car is causing more problems to start with than can be dealt with in a tune.

I agree with spoolin i dont care about this argueing people will go with who they believe, However jjspec will soon hopefully have a dyno and jimmy has already made 450whp 400trq with a STOCK D16 with pistons, rods, headstuds and a little ass t3t4. He went 9's when others on this site was wanting 10's. Ive never met someone as nice and helpful as him and he will surely be tuning both my cars and my friends. This man has over 800 passes down the track, has a family and still gets on the track where he belongs to have fun unlike other tuners who just make a living outta tuning or extra money..he even manages to take his time to go to the track with you and help you. Now i like go-autoworks as well sam is a magician himself but ill have better support with jjspec and there closer which is while ill be letting him tune my car instead of go-autoworks. Parts wise im with go-autoworks all the way they have some of the best parts availiable hands down and there work is FLAWLESS!!

its working sam pulled out 510 out gregs d series this past thursday on a REALLY conservative tune, low 10's high 9's ARE coming!

another vote for scotty. i've owned 2 boosted hondas and he's tuned both. my current one has been running with zero issues for almost 4 years. you'd almost think it came stock with a turbo on it. scotty is the man
