story if i remember from the build thread on h-t was something like this old guy bought a eclipse with a supercharger, had problems, he put it back to stock, and charged the guy 500 and kept the SC kit, sold the kit on ebay for like 1500, and the vette was just chilling at the shop he worked at, been wrecked and insurance never picked it up, he filed the paper work, and bought it from the shop for around 1500. he did all the fab. work himself, and got the civic shell free from a good friend.

i talked to him a few years back in nashville before it was ever driving and he said he had less in it than more than 3/4s of the cars at IA that year
