    Default Mini me help

    So I got a 97 ex awile a go with a slung rod ended up puting some d15 non vtec in that needs valve seals really bad I have the hea. Off the d16 stilland it's good still this morning wen I went to drive the civic I guess it was too cod for tha old timig belt andit snaped before it could start up. I was gona just thro a new belt on there and ride out but I was wondering what all I have to do to do. Mini me. I know u don't need a oil feed but is it complety nessary to change the water pump over to the vtec one? What about the tming belt? and what head gasket and belt do I need to run? Thanks. reps will be given.

    It's a shame the peAce of shit did amazing in the ice yesterday! Havin pizza cutters for tires was the shit in my case

    You need to pull out oil plug in middle of block, water pump from z6 or y8 and use whatever belt/head gasket goes with the head you have. Wire VTEC and possibly new O2then your good. really easy

    Ya I mean I've done tons of lsv's do. Have to change the water pump? I just put a new pump in.

    U don't have to but you can, they are allmost all the same on SOHC's. I did 2 of these it is so EASY man.

    It's too in depth I don't need the prucudure to take it apart lol. Take the old shit off and put the shit on. Simple as that. Sorry for the speling and. Shit iPhone is gay wit cold fingures in a 2o degree shop

    i did a mini me in my 96 ex coupe y7 block y8 head i used the y8 head gasket and used stock y7 water and oil pump motor ran nice and had a good amount of power vtec screamed
