Default turbo b16 vs turbo gsr

**first off i didnt know where to put this thread so i thought this was an appropriate place to put it.

i do not know too much about honda motors, and i'm looking at buying a turbo'd b16 but i was talking to some friends, and i know that obviously a b16 is smaller than the 1.8 liter gsr motor, but they told me that a turbo'd gsr will make like a small difference between horsepower and torque, but a turbo'd b16 will have close to a 2:1 ratio of horsepower to torque. like half as much. 1)is this true? 2)if it is why is there such a difference between the two vtec dohc motors?

Difference between both motors is the stroke. The B16 has a 77mm stroke where as the B18C has a 87mm stroke. And also due to the fact of 1.8 to 1.6 liter difference.

oh, that makes sense about the strokes, but i knew it would have less than the gsr because it's smaller but i didn't know why there was such a difference in the hp/torque ratio
