garrett turbo rebuild
got everything pulled apart and ran into a problem and i need a turbine wheel. i dont want to upgrade the wheel i just want the standard wheel it came with where can i get one? i got the rebuild kit from g pop shop in arizona and i think all they offer is an upgraded wheel.

yeah but if you look on their website they dont have anything about turbines...they say see one of their distributers then if you go to one of their websites it doesnt have anything about turbines either....
but ive also found upgraded turbines such as stage 2,3,and 5 upgrades but would that fit? i have no idea because i dont know anybody who has done it. because ill go to like a stage 2 i think you can get them for like $250
look on ebay. THeir is a couple of companies on there.
you do know the shaft/turbine wheel is going to be specific to the turbo you have right? They aren't all interchangeable or nothing.
if its for a rebuild, the best thing to do is just buy another turbo (maybe even a used junkyard one) and use the entire turbine section ... (the housing too if possible) Just make sure you balance the new turbine with your old compressor wheel... etc.
Stage 2 will take longer to spool but will top out higher... just a fyi..

If it is a Garrett turbo, call ATP turbo. Tell them what you have, what you need, and they will get it for you.
yeah thats where i bought the turbo from i called them and they said u have to email the tech guy so i emailed him and waitin for him to write back
