    Default 2000 Chevrolet Camaro reliable?

    I just wanted to ask some people what they think of the 98,99,00, camaros.
    I,m looking into getting a newer car at the end of this year,And i just wanted to know the known problems with them if any from people that have owned them,Thanks.

    Too vague a question. Really depends on the previous owner, mileage of the car, previous maintainance of the car, V6 or V8, auto or manual.....lots of things.

    Manual and v6 or v8.Also i want to try to get one with maybe a little under 100,000 Miles if i can.I guess what i am trying to ask is about is manufacturd defects,Bad Trans,bad head gasket,known issues, Ect.

    They aren't bad at all as long as you take care of them, as you should any vehicle. The only problem I have ever had with is the ignition coil, but thats only $30-60 and can be done yourself within minutes if you ever run into the problem. Transmission and engine were strong at 175000 before it was sold, same as with my 92 Camaro I recently sold also. Same problem with the ignition coil on both cars, but once they are changed then no problems.
