depends on gearing, traction, tire size, suspension setup, driver skill, progressive nitrous system or not, wet or dry shot, what cam, what header, etc.

Sounds like an incredibly stupid build IMO no offense. an 8.5:1 compression D Series with a 200 shot just isnt going to hold power unless you run like a $2000 NITROUS kit.

save your money and just turbo it

when its all said and done i will have 300$ into the whole build , so no loss here and it will be turbo later on . all i have to do is put it together , so 300$ is not bad , i just wana see if it will hold , and the bottom end is the stuff yall put together for halwit , when u was at mainstrem

What is the purpose of the ultra low compression?? Nitrous LOVES compression. I think you are confused on what you are doing or how nitrous works.

for $300 itll run 14 or 15s because you wont have the setup to hold that kind of nitrous, and you wont have the nitrous kit capable of delivering that kind of shot reliably.

Ask KevinT707. He ran 100 shot of nitrous on his LSVTEC with a crappy ZEX kit, and one pull it would make 280whp, next it would make 210whp.

You gotta have the motor to handle that kind of shot, and the delivery system of being able to handle that kind of shot. Sounds like you have neither.

    Good luck though

I know who you are now - haha. You need to run with the heater. Also you will need to pro noids.

Remem I ran 125 shot back in the day on stock singles cams... that was my M.O all day long. On a slick at the track you can dip into 11s on that shot w/ the torque gains if it's light enuff w/ the right suspension out back. You're not the skinniest guy so you know you will need the car on a diet. Not to mention you can drive better than most people around. You are taking a lot of power out of your kit w/ the low CR though - that could be your saving grace on being able to leave on the kit from the dig... but your kit will fall off on the top w/ that low of compression. I got a new number --- PMing you man.

If you run the controller like I have, remember you want to get pulseoids and not regular solenoids --- the regular noids hate to be pulsed repeatedly.

If it's not together yet -- get the head studs and mill the head a bit to get you closer to 9ish CR.

Yeah - I'm kinda on hold b/c I'm relocating in Jan so I've been lazy. Sold the black EG a few months ago - picked up another EG shell tho so that didn't work out like I planned. LOL. I'll still be in Ga but I think I'm gonna finish what I have and then take a break from cars and get back into music. I'll still be around though.
