i run e85 from time to time. i get my gas low enough in the tank, and in haltech i simply switch over maps. boom... 33% more fuel is injected.
tuning for it is super easy. i have a tech edge wideband o2 sensor kit, but i normally tune in lambda mode. this is easy enough because stoich in lambda is 1.00 regardless of whatever you put into the engine. so in e8r, i tune for .90 at idle, .85 in cruise, and .75 when i throw the hammer down. if you calculate this for gasoline its proper. if you calculate it in e85, its pretty much band on proper as well.
so i pretty much think that if someone turbos a 4 banger, and uses 500 cc injectors as a good safe all around size, then 33% more is pretty much 700 cc's for injector size.. thats pretty much safe for in my ideal world.
