i wish. my budget is only 50k. i cant do anything to the cts-v if i got one of those.

i could do an lsx build c5 or buy a 2003-05 viper and S/C with wheels etc.

i was leaning towards the c5 for just an all out beast. the goal would be 8 seconds and still street driven

If you only care about going in a straight line go with the Viper. I know it's situational, but every time I track my dad's Vette I eat the Vipers through turns...but then they make up for it on the straights.

how many 8 second vettes to you see compared to 8 sec F-bodies? its hard to get a vette to that level.

Ahh I see, I was thinking a bigger budget because you posted a Newer Viper. With 50,000, I would go for a srt-10 though. I would tell you to get a c6z, but you already have a c6. Maybe pick up a gts viper instead of a srt-10. Either way, you can't go wrong with a viper.
