Downing was actually who I was thinking of when I said Kudzu, they know how to get it done when it come to spinning triangles inside of peanuts.

Although Downing does not build his motors. Our owner Rick Engman does. I still love your comment, it was hilarious.

I was actually refering to the early 80's IMSA RX-7. The Kudzu cars are overkill in this case.

Most race car driver/owners don't turn the wrenches themselves.

Downing is the #1 reason Mazda was successful in IMSA racing and it wasn't because he knew how to fix the motor but because he could bring a team together that could. Plus build the chassis, find sponcorship, and drive the car too.

You think Penske, Ginassi, Childress or anyone else worth a damn doesn't use an engine specialist?

I'm sorry, I did not know I was replying to you. I was just giving him some polite info. Sorry if it offended you somehow.

I guess i misunderstood your comment as one that talked down of Downing.

No offense. Just found it misleading.
