    Default kia sorento

ok so i ended up with my ex girls freakin sorento again.dohhhh!!!

well i was woundering if there are any good mods for the car i dont know about.i am deffinatly wanting to drop it at some point the problem is i only have found 1.5 inch drop springs. with this one i wanna go low if i do it.
also does anyone do any tuning on these or am i stuck with a boring assed kia? really its not bad and runs great but seems like there are no good aftermarket parts out there for it just to make it my own. i was kinda thinkin to do something like i did with my old s-10s and folks did to thier blazers just slam it put on some rims and be done with it. any ideas im kinda drawing a blank here ....kia lol

I honestly think some kia stuff is underrated but then again they are stuck back in the 90s and early 2000 with the hp. My fiances Kia Spectra has 138-140 hp or so (cant remember exact) and pulls really well due to throttle response. I think it would be a great contender for some of the honda engines if it were built, if not leave them behind. I dont know what engine the Sorento has but im sure there has to be something somewhere but not much.

this model has a 3.5l i think and 200 or 260hp not sure and 4:10 limited slip rear differatial. it would be nice to get it in the 300whp range cause its a tank lol

it really does run strong as hell to.

if you think you can afford it(though alot of us are in debt), and have another vehicle in case the Kia detonates then go to Mainstream to see what they can fabricate for you.

im gonna start with the basic mods for now, intake and exhaust. and if i can find a programer like hypertech if they make one for this car i would like that as a performance start.

after more reading there is almost nothing pre made for this suv lol, guess i will keep it basic.

Yeah seems like thats your only choice. I found this site that has a chip for lots of cars. I dont know a damn thing about them and doubt they do as much as they say they do but you can check it out @

specs not sure, they are stock 16 inch with stock replacement tires. i would like to find a 18 or 20 inch replacement, i was thinkin of 18's up front 20's in the back and drop it to tuck more rear and run a wider tire out back. poilished lips not big on chrome rims.
