That is a very vague question. 5 psi from a T25, yeah probably so as long as the engine is not wore out. 5 psi from a T4, better be ready for a new engine. Be more specific. About the car and the setup.

Lolz! 5 lbs will be fine with a little turbo. Should add a little torque and make it more fun to drive. Just make sure it is a healthy engine to start with. Good luck!

I boosted my stock d15b2 with 140k+ miles on it nearly 10 years ago LOL. I ran 7-8psi on it with a crappy street tune. I drove it like this for probably 15k miles. I finally yanked the motor out because it was getting so much blowby and smoking.. oil control rings had seized into the pistons. So i say go for it.. but don't expect it to last long.

yeah of course! Just get some good PVC pipe and hook that shit up..
    And who needs a tune??

NO ONE can tell you for sure if your motor is gonna blow up.
Is it a good motor with sorta low miles, will you do it right and get a tune? If so then it should last.
But the other option... Are you going ebay as cheap as you can on a 300k mile motor and not tuning it? Probably won't last..

Actually a S372 will spool so late in the rpm range that it may not hurt it, lol.

You want a price on 1.5 or 1.6? 1.6 would probably be the best choice imo.

Quit telling us what body style you have, ok. All the info that needs to be posted is: what motor, how many miles on the motor, what turbo setup your looking into(if you even know, which i dont think you do) what kinda gains your looking for(not that it matters, it isnt gonna be much) and how much your willing to spend on the entire project.

If more info is needed you will be asked, until then stop posting.

Now if it was a JDM D15b .... That would be another story... Hell I say throw 6-8lbs at it.. that's what i did. the motors are cheap to replace anyways.

i'd upgrade motors before boosting it. get a d16z6 with the zc vtec cam. maybe springs and retainers to help the top end out. maybe some new vitara rods or something. then boost. just the route i would go, personally.

I'd say just keep it na and install boltons and chip it with a good tune and I'll prolly get close to the same power, since your only going to be a 5 psi. Then you don't ha e to worry as much about blowing up your motor.

X2 to this thread being I'm wrong section...

Don't get me wrong. Boost is the bees neeZ. But if your not going to build the motor none? And only on 5lbs... U should just built it up NA
