LOL, my buddie ran a 300 shot, 2 single nozzle 150's, dry on his B18B. All it did was burn up the intake valves on #3. Ran a 12.8 @ 90. Most of the time if you run to much thats all it will do. Another friend thought that the number on the jets was the size of the shot...it took me rebuilding his head twice until he finally told me what was going on. He had a .075 jet in 5177 kit![]()

150 Shot.
Try not. Do or Do not.
but it can be filtered out with a organic filter that you can buy at lowes for right about 9 bucks.......
its how all those idiots at raves sold whip hits in ballons back in the 90s and 00s
Its been a while, but if I remember correctly, on a 5177 kit which is your standard EFI dry kit for a return style fuel system, a .075 jet would be a 150 shot since the powershot solenoid orifice is .065.
In my experience, anything over a 75 dry shot on a honda intake manifold requires it to be a direct port. I was able to run a 100 shot but I had to redirect the return from the fuel pressure solenoid thing back into the intake tract but it still hit #3 really hard. It would eat a plug every 3 runs. The standard way to run it is just T'd back into the nearest vacuum port on the manifold. The stock manifold just doesnt distribute evenly enough for a single nozzle at that level.
I easily ran a direct port dry kit @ 150 on a stock type R manifold, stock bottom end B18C1. I got the idea from said friend who had been running the same setup on his stock B18B for a while.
50 shot fogger...... and youll be a ok for a good long time.....
Pussies run nitrous.

i had my stock LS on a 55 zex wet kit hooked up wrong and it ran fine but as soon as i bumped up to a 75 it didnt last long before i melted a piston. but this was all because i had hooked it up wrong![]()
A 60 shot should be fine, youll pick up more torque than HP which hondas are short on.

NO ONE cares about or is impressed by the cars you USED to own, why don't you put all the cars in your neighborhood in your sig as well, you don't own those either!
It's just like anything else and really fits the person. There is no "best" system. The "best" systems are mutt systems.. for example, the old school NOS (holley) bottles have the best flow out of the bottle valve... NX has the best entry-level and mid-range solenoids (when I say best I mean reliable, not highest flowing), ZEX has the easier installations w/ "the box", etc. No flared jets are interchangeable b/c each manufacturer is aware of the flow differeneces between their bottles noids and jets. So the numbers on the jets to make the same HP will never be the same from manufacturer to manuafacturer b/c they each have different flow rates, nozzles, etc.
A good safe kit that has shutdown if you lean out is Zex. It's commonly accepted to be the safest out of the box. On an import EFI system w/ such a small shot and as a 1st time used I'd run Zex or NX.

+1 for Zex. It is the safest kit to use, as stated before "the box" will shut it off if you run too lean.
