    Default having problem with throttle body spacer

    i put in an obx throttle body spacer an now when i crank it up, it jumps idling from1000 to 3000 and back and forth i need help on how to remedy this problem if any one knows i appreciate all input thanks to all of the car specialists that i hope will totally fix it for me or tell me what to do thx

    wanna stop posting the same thread in everything you can find go back to genral tech i anwsered ur q

    I had that same problem. A simple thing to change or check is the map sensor on top of the throttle body.

    stick two fingers into the throttle body, there should be two holes right in front of the butterfly, plug those holes up with your finger... it should kinda suck your fingers into the two lil holes... if the idle goes back to normal.... pm, i;ll tell ya how to fix dat.
    if it doesn;t fix the idle, then forget everything i said.lol

    i thought that had something to do with it,,, the gasket covers up those two holes....im wondering if those two holes being covered up is the problem?................holler
