wet 75 shot on ls/vtec?

ok so i got a NX express wet kit in a trade it has a 75 shot jet but i was wanting to know if my pr3 pistons could handle it.
My build is
b18a1 block
stock ls rods with arp fasteners
acl bearing
arp headstuds
gsr head
supertech springs and aluminum retainers
crower 402a2 exhaust cam and crower 403 intake cam (402a2 snapped in two)
AEBS intake manifold
stock 60mm TB
310cc injectors
pr3 std size pistons
OE MLS head gasket
vteckidd RMF Headers

i just want to know if my motor can handle it or break

IMO I would go with some eagle rods and some used forged pistons. That's just me, I don't trust stock ls rods with a power added.

im pretty sure you'l need to get tuned before you spray that big of a shot especially with those pistons...

its been tuned before but not for nitrous. and my the guy i got it from was running it on a stock b16a2.

Always iffy with the juice box. But as Walks said, I'd go with some good rods and pistons before juicing that much.

he was taking a risk with that IMO and since you've put alot of money into your motor already, a tune on nitrous tune wouldnt hurt.
also agree with the guys that suggesting the rods and pistons.

Its a wet kit...the tuning is all in the jets. Knock back timing 4 degrees if you want to be safe, and get some 7 heat range NGK's. 75 is a small shot, but the PR3 ringlands are very weak. My buddies stock B16 lasted for about a year on the 75 shot before it cracked a ringland. It was a dry shot too.

my first eg hatch i had a long time ago had a stock LS ran 15.2 and i sprayed 100shot wet, ran a 14.0 for over a year, nuthin happened but changin spark plugs, it blew up after my friend got the motor from me and ran 14psi untuned on it...lol...but i gave it one step up on the fuel jet so it would be a lil bit on the safer side....i ran a 9 heat range and retarded my ignition timing 4 degrees......i say yay to the 75 shot if your ls/vtec was built with balancing, healty compression, machine work, etc. and was put together the right way only. if not i'd rather spray a 75 shot on a geo metro bro...lol

I think you will need a VTEC head gasket if your planning on LS/Vtec

Pull 3 degrees of timing / Get the ZEX plugs and go hunting. Do not spray over 6k on those ringlands. Also invest in a wideband.

its all in the tuning and the amount of fuel avaiable
you can spray 100shot on stock motor all day it just right stuff required
fuel pump injectors and fine tuning man
IMPORT EXPERTS is great place to get that tune man IMO

You don't need injectors. You don't even need a fuel pump for this setup (unless you're anal).

oh and dont spray under 4k rpm.....its not a 75shot at that point, its like this.....nitrous is somewhat opposite from boost...the higher u rev, u lose power from nitrous, but there is way to fix that problem....dont u hate it when u race and u get the jump when spraying and than end up gettin pulled in like 3-4 sec?? lol

this is how nitrous should be done...by using a progressive nitrous controller

4k 75shot
5k 75shot
6k 100shot
7k 125shot
8k 150shot

at 8k a 150shot is equivelent to a 75shot at 4k rpm....why is this ..wahh..what because engine speed is increased but nitrous flow did not....so if u spray nitrous manually and only have one setting at 100shot...spraying at 4k rpm is like a 300 shot..sort of..confusing? lol yes

x2 its a wet kit so no need for injectors, anything more than a 75 shot i would get a upgraded fuel pump just to be safe that it doesnt fail on u....u only need injectors if your gonna do it the way i do it, dry shot, nitrous controller, 550cc injectors, tune. its gets its right fuel needed when tuning just like a turbo setup....except u dont have to keep fillin the damn bottles...lol baby j would say thats anal too!

well i already have 330cc injectors and a 255lph pump.... but after looking further into it. im just gonna use it to spool my turbo on my del sol......

on a B16 piston, if you cant afford to rebuild it dont spray. B16 ringlands are weak and WILL crack over 240whp, so if you are anywhere near that on the 75 shot, it will give out, just a matter of time

thats right , i had a b16 sprayed 75 shot on it every weekend for a yr and half , not mention it was a dry shot , just use the right plugs , timeing and good ignition and spray a way , just dont over rev or abuse it.
