Today import racing lost one of it's founding members with the passing of Shaun "NuFormz" Carlson.

Shaun built Steph Papadakis's first Pro class FWD civic (yellow hatch) then he moved on to the following cars below..

Some of you younger guys might not know this, but Shaun got his start at Minitruckin' Magazine way back in the day. He actually was one of the guys that would come out for Truck Bash and hang out with us Craze guys for the weekend. He used to talk about this 4 Runner he was building...but he ended up selling the painted shell and devoted his time to performance, doing turbo installs on minitrucks, and eventually going to work for Turbo magazine, and the rest, most of you know...he built Jason Whitfields green CRX (also painted by Kal Koncepts, like his Wooden Runner), Steph's car, etc.
A really good guy from Ky, by the name of John, bought Shaun's Wooden Runner and finished it, and it's been hitting the show circuit for years here in the midwest. Unfortunately, the Wooden Runner flipped last year, trailer and all, totaling it out.
