Civic's? Anyone tired of them?

I liked them when I was like 15-16. Growing up a little, I appreciate nicer cars...and a Civic, no matter how modified, is still a Civic. I don't understand why someone would swap motors, turbo, all just to break 14's in a quarter mile. That's not fast. Why not buy a faster car to start out with?

Note that I'm not speaking anything about my car or how cool it is... I know it's "just another Z" and I know it's slow and I know it handles like shit etc etc haha

to help you understand the performance mod thing,for me it was about the challenge,easy to build a big fast v8 or v6 but when you build a 4cyl that will eat a v8's ass for dinner well thats something to be proud of.

i got bored with 350's and 302's and 455's hondas challenged me to me they are still like little toys kinda funny,when you open he hood and see a sohc killa,there is just something about being the underdog and knowing your gonna win the fight. and break 14's we did that shit 10 years ago there are sohc's runnin 9's man

i hope you didnt say your car is an investment. do you know what an investment is? since ppl on here don't like to use google. i will help you out.

Do you really think you arent gonna lose $10k+ when you pay off that car? You call that an investment? Use your head. I'm not saying you should run and buy a old civic. but I think what a lot of ppl in this thread are saying is that you are losing money, and gloating about it. doesnt make sense.

Im not gloating aboot anything, And by investment I didnt mean that I was gonna sell my car for twice what I paid for it in ten years. I meant its something that I am putting alot of money into, therefore I might as well put my money into something thats fun to drive each and everytime I get behind the wheel. Its also something that Im not gonna see ten of everytime I go to the nearest gas station. I dont wanna drive a POS for the rest of my life and once my car is paid for it is mine forever.

Thanks bro! I just didn't want to perpetuate the stereotype of all Z owners thinking their car is the best car on the planet and everything else is beneath them. I do see what you're saying, BUT I still think if you wanna make something your own why not start with a base nobody else has?

im tired of civics and integras, some cats act like their civics are better than any car on the road, may reason why i dont like them is the reason why most people like them, yeah they are lightweight and get great gas milage but that's because they dont have much structure, i know of a couple of people that have died cause the civic they were in did not protect them, how could it protect them, i would rock one of the newer ones cause they are heavier, i was in a bad accident in my 93 accord and i walked away with minor scratches, if i were in a civic, i would not be here or i would be crippled for sure, but then again to each .... their own

some people strive too hard to be different than everyone else in everything they do, as to where some (like myself) am just fine with having the same old thing as tom dick and harry but still are quite capable of being their own individual

i like my unique civic. Executed to my own taste and a great daily driver. Just wish it wasn't on the top 10 list of stolen cars. Civics are snatched like no tomm. in GA. Good thing is, if I ever need a part i can be sure it's available for a price......

Not fond if Civics there are 3.2 million here in warner robins....the children here draw on their civics put exhausts that only attract the attention of retards and NEON... ja ja i raced my friends Mercury van againt some 16 year old ja ja needless to say he lost..... Im a nissan fan specifically the s13.... I am helping a friend on a 2jz swap its coming along fuckin right... I think he will be one of the few 2jz s13's in mid ga. Its gonna be primarily a DD (daily Drifter) welded Diff Aluminum Driveshaft... the works.... the thered is on here its called my 2jz s13 build... check out the work

I completely agree. Everything has been done to all other chassis. Whenever a new trend comes along with the Civics they are pretty damn stupid. Mismatch engine bays and green rotas or gram lights still are stupid to do to a civic. In fact Rotas suck period.

I am not tired of mine. Being this is the first and only car I have ever owned and it's paid for, I am happy. Obviously I don't have it like everyone else and is able to switch up cars at will. Either way it goes, I don't dislike anyone's car even if there are a lot of civics and a lot of people fuck them up. I love and appreciate mine, at least I am fortunate to have a fucking car that I can do something with it.
