Don't get too excited while bidding, that how you'll end up like "WTF did I just buy it for?????"
There's no Greater advice!
You Already know to inspect the car etc etc.
Leisa and S. 4 Life NM?
Haha, thats why Ive decided to make my dad go and kinda school me on how things go. He's done it a lot before. Would like do it on my own but it doesnt hurt to admit that i dont know everything im doing.
Not sure where you're going but some places have a buyer's fee or something like that, gotta add it on to your final bid.
2007 Civic FA1 and 2005 Yukon XL Denali
Yeah I already got the rules and all. Its an automatic $100 if i buy something since im not a dealer, then a charge that varies to cost of car. like if I bid to win something from 0-500 there is like a 100 dollar fee and so on, and taxes and all. Adds up quick but hopefully I can get something good.
check to see if the AC works, if it doesnt make sure to look good under the hood because dirty mofo's will unplug shit to keep people from bidding on it.
Ive heard shit like that. Great Advice! Even if the air condition doesn't work I don't really care. I roll with the windows down all year long anyway. Still something to look into. REPs
So I just got back from the auction, there is nothing but complete shit and nice cars there, too nice for me to afford. Lexus GS, BMW Z, Acura TL, all starting high.
yeah if your looking for a 2000-4000 dollar car your best bet is CL.
i went to the auction tues and thurs for 3 weeks looking for a red or white 2wd 4 door blazer, ever one that came though that wasnt a POS went for too much $. i ended up getting a good deal off craigslist.
Yeah it was pretty nice. I did not really expect to much from it before but i checked it out and I liked it, just bids weren't worth it. I could get a good car with lower mileage, like the SC400 I've been looking at. I think I'm gonna stick with IA and Craigslist.
what are you looking to buy?
what auction did you go to
