Honda guys vs. Dubbin' Guys.
Who takes creativity too far? I like somethings both groups do, just wanting to know opinions.

Honda guys,
well. Shit.
They are about equal, except dubbin is just pointless
Lol my bad.
hondas,cause they copy the dubs......lol
In all honesty they all have potential.
There should be an option for VIP and/or sidewall stretching.

Mine's the red one.
damn i was bout to buy a 240...now im nervous im gonna get flamed for it...I was either gonna send it to turbo Dave to do a 2jz swap or put a sbc 350 in it
Do what you want, don't let the hate stop you. Not all 240s, VW, and/or Hondas suck. Just some of the dumb trends...
Like hanging charms from 240s. In all honesty I think I don't like the VW trends. Some look good though with crosshairs, lowered, BBS wheels. A lot stuff I can't stand.
Just make it nice, people hate on 240s that are put together in shitty ways. Theres nothing wrong with having 240, but there is something wrong with being a fag. The two just go hand in hand pretty often it seems.
I would have to vote Honda, I like them but as hypno said they did steal the styling from VW.
best advice... buy whatever car makes you happy and do whatever mods you like to it. it's your car, so it's your call. best of luck on the upcoming project.
k this might be a stupid q. but all these people that stretch the tires on the rims, is that bcause they want that specific look..or is it bcause no tire company makes a tire that wide?
im looking...
trends are just what they are, here today... gone tomorrow. if it makes sense on a performance standpoint go for it, if it's just for looks, well... enjoy wasting your money then.
Not as pointless as the 240sx world you once belonged to.
Every 240sx has drift charms, battle scars, stupid ass stickers on it, girlie tight jeans on the owner, ghey ass dildo ass stuffin shift knobs, and a cracked dash, oh and a odometer that doesn't work.
Tell me that trend isn't fucking stupid.

BUY MY HATCH <--click the link, cuz.
the old school jap car trend is weak sos
i'm a 240 owner, so let me set the record straight:
not "Every" 240 owner wants to drift, i don't and have no interest in it at all.
i have no fucking clue what a "drift charm" is, but i have heard of lucky charms, which is a breakfast cereal.
my car is in need of a paint job, but that's normal considering it's still the original paint from 1995. no body damage from drifting since i don't do it, so no "battle scars".
the only stickers that might end up on my car will be 2 small ones to rep the shop doing the work on my car.
i'm way too fat to fit into "girlie tight jeans" and even if i tried it, they'd rip so i'm not going there.
i have no clue what "ghey ass dildo ass stuffin shift knobs" look like, but i assure you, my shift knob does not look like a dildo. if it did, i don't think any girl or guy in there right mind would want it in them.
luckily my dash is not cracked, for how long who knows.
my odometer is working.
thank you for putting "every" 240 owner in your generalization about what you think "every" 240 owner is like. did you just smell something? it's sarcasm.
i likem all...wanted a 240 last yr...but they kinda gettin played out...
riding low is like a religion
"ghey ass dildo ass stuffin shift knobs"

i have a 240,i dont drift,i dont have a cracked dash, straight body, no stickers, and i have stock shift knob
and everything works, even down to the a/c.
i bought it cause i liked the look of car and being a rwd light coupe....gonna try and do a 302/T5 swap....dont know much bout nissan stuff.
I picked hondas though cause I hate them with a passion, I hate everything about them.
But the VTAK can never lose!!
Mine's the red one.
Also I do own a Honda now lol. Also what's up with VWs with every panel a different color (on purpose) and honda's having their engine bay painted a different color than the car. Not a fan.
i've never understood the logic in the multicolored vw's, that's been around ever since i started driving in the late 80's, but it may have been around before then. i guess the honda thing with the engine bay might have something to do with it costing less to paint the exterior only than having to paint exterior and remove the engine to paint the bay to match.
That most likely means the car was teal from the factory but the owner decided to paint the exterior white while leaving the 'invisible' panels stock color. (cost savings)
If you check the door jams and the underside of the trunklid, those parts will probably be teal as well.
As for the VWs, apparently some of'em came stock that way.
I'm a Ford guy though so what do I know.
