The engine? Really though 240's aren't that great of a drifting platform, peope just use them because they are cheap, sure when highly built they can be good, but stock they aren't shit, with a SR and LSD they aren't shit, basic coilovers, etc. None means shit.

    LMFAO at that VW WTF.

not not when you start comparing it to formula d cars no. yes i only realy care for the motor. ive never cared to much for looks. thats always last. performace first. my sr20 with 400hp welded diff and coilovers feel pretty damn good to me and impress everyone that it comes in contact with. i rather drift this car than any other one. maybe a z or g25 but realy the 240 has good steering angle and well balanced car and running 12.3 spining with terrible 60ft like 2.0 on street tires is shitty? trapping at 117 is not shit? bump it up to 20lbs keeping up with 600cc bikes is not worth shit. damn your car must be the fucking shit then. like i said before these are perfect drift cars. thats why they didnt use them in japan or formula d?

im not going to win this battle. we have two completely different views. i like drifting. you could care less for it. im not into road courses. not realy my thing. does it take skill yes. but my car is not set up for that. it completely set up for the total opposite. im trying to break traction and your trying to keep it. its a on going battle that neither of us are going to win so im stepping back and saying good luck with whatever your doing. i hope it works out with you. and good night.

I LOVE 240s but HATE to see what has been done to them...

I didn't vote because there was no option for "shit hanging from the back of your car"

The stupid camber trend is just that...

I got a nasty looking 240 with an sr. They are the worlds best drift car and you expect people not to drift them. They are cheap to maintain and make fast. Just like mustangs.

Oh thank God, you said SR... Lucky i have a KA... *runs off thinking he is the drifting gawd*

Anyhow, S13 aren't good drifting on stock setup. The suspension is much more prone to under steer then s14, and have a NASTY snap steer.. Hell i could give you a list of my "handling" faults, but that doesn't it make me love it any less. Sure you have a few problems, but some people like to work from the bottom up, its not like we are starting on a platform with a horrible weight distribution. The car has lots of potentiality, kinda like a civic/crx with a B-swap... STOCK(crx/civics) they are slow as balls, but some work and then you learn how to appreciate it.

A CRX SI is faster then a 240 stock lol, even a CRX with the D series with bolt ons and a few extras can beat a stock SR 240.

Stock 240's arent shit, you are right, but hell a stock e30(M3 doesn't count) is just as bad or worse. E30's are cheap and yes, when built right they can be good. That is why E30's like 240's are a popular entry level car to build for racing. And also when people say 240's handle like shit they should specify which generation b/c I think the 14 handled significantly better.
