Default Toyota Solara wheel fitment question

I currently have a set of 17'' X 7'' Enkei's on my car with a 38 offset. My bolt pattern is 5X114.3. So my question is, will a set of 17'', 45 offset / 7.5" wide wheels fit my car properly? Also the tires i currently have are 215/50R17 while the tires on the wheels i'm looking at are 215/55R16 if that matters.

Any help will be appreciated and repped.

    properly is subjective
i think they will look like crap

like 10 +10 in the rear and a 9+5 in the front would look good

17x7.5 +45mm wheels should work fine on your car. They will sit the same on the outside and go in 1/2" to the inside.

I am assuming you meant to say the wheels you are looking at have 215/55/17. If thats the case you are in good shape.

Thanks for your help man. I decided to go with a set of 17 X 7 Konigs and keep my same tires.

yes they would fit but it would look worse than what you have now. the half inch of width and taller tire wont compensate for the lack of offset. get a spacer if you like the wheels.
