whats up man im the guy that won all motor pro in commerce. my names nick. as chris already stated it is a bone stock stock motor minus blox b cams (supertech springs and retainers), a euro r IM, 68mm TB, and a SSR header. the best time i had in commerce was a 12.13. the car weighs in at about 2020 lbs with me in it and 1810 without me in it. I know i know i need to put myself on a diet and not the car :) anyways. looks like u have an amazing skill for fabrication. those parts look absolutely amazing. i especially like the drivers side mount. the only thing i would change if i were u is putting the oil drain plug in the front dirvers side corner of the oil pan. that is the lowest part of the pan and will allow u to get more oil out. if u are gonna sell some of these kits u make, could u pm me a price. we have another car down here that we are thinking of making H2B and lookin for a kit. anyways good luck with the build and hope to see ya at IFO montgomery!!
Civicnick
send me a pm on how you got your ef so light
mine is 2300lbs with a swap!
Yes sir jdm, lol, you got me started with those funds!!!!
Thanks for posting nick!!! That really gets my hopes up as my target wheight is 2100. I only weigh 160ish so I should be able to accomplish it. I wanted my drain there since I like to jack the car way the heck up in the air so the angle wont be as bad as on a lift of normal jack stands. And if it doesnt work I'll just pull it off and put it where you said, thanks alot for the info. Maybe I can reach mid 12's with just bolt ons!!!!!!!
I doubt I'll be in AL, I just got an order for some customer parts, more money in the bank but less time for me to do my stuff.
Man 12's is so NICE!!!I have an EG SOHC gonna try for 13's, H2B is a little outta my $$$$ range. Good luck!!!!!!!

His car has NOTHING in it LOL
I Was the one in the red CRX, nice meeting you
the car is COMPLETELY gutted. the only things left are the seat and the steering wheel. it was also a SI so we built a custom plug for the sunroof to go from 38 lbs for the stock sunroof to 9 lbs for the one thats in it now. we also played around with cutting up the doors. we cut everything out inside the door panel brackets and took the crash bar out of the passanger door. there is still glass in it cause i dont think that lexan is much lighter than those windows. thats about all we did. i will say that my car weighed 2180 lbs with both front seats and a full tank of gas. if u have any other questions lemme know.
24's will prolly work for that 2.0L
i say you duplicate the plate and halfshalf plate and sell them on IA for people wanting to do h2b's and make your money.....
Motor/tranny plate:

is that "dent" with a rattle can job?!?!?
looking good man...been a LONG time...
Of course its the dent with a rattle can main. Im doin it up FP style.
If anyone just wanted the plate and half shaft adapter, I'd be more than willing to do that. If thats all you want then no problem, we can has tons o H2B's in the Atl.
I just got done putting the new motor in trying for 240 this time made 232 last time run 12.7 at 108 with h series trany sure i could have run a little better but h2b would be nice and mike i got jasons 22 s if you need them i just ordered some brand new ones for the lensos. Thats with with a full interior si hatch with the spare tire lol. 2500 with me in it.
pm me a price on the plate ,jack shaft plate. and front mount plate and the fly wheel spacer please may be easier and cheaper than building one. I checked and the sheet of aluminum is 400 dollars i need there will be plenty left over but thats alot of money lol.
Finally got some help pulling the engine off the stand so I can finish this beast.

Almost there, just waiting on flywheel bolts to test fit the whole thing and measure for the Alt bracket and header!!!

Is this Jenson from importlounge?
same guy
Jesus christ, thats one old school car! im sure the nitrous kit has never left it, even if swaps have, haha.
Nice work can't wait to see the numbers when your'e done.
in for progress, looking great
nice man
BTW you know most all car makers never , ever made a oil pan with the drain plug at the bottom???
never hit a speed bump, rock, tire, some wood thing in the road?
Yeah say by by drain plug and then no oil so by by motor... good luck
Tis I, I mean how many JensOns are there? I just found my dyno sheet from 2002 with the 75 shot and first B18 swap lol. It made 218, hopefully I'll get close to that on the motor.
You have to understand the H2B swap, even though it's now on the bottom of the pan it's still higher than it was from the factory or a standard H swap. Anything will hit the front bumper, then x member, then header, and then it'll hit the front of the oil pan anyway. I know what your saying but it doesn't really apply here
Yeah on my h2b the header is way lower than the bottom of the oil pan by at least an inch and a half. If you hit something that bad, your header is gonna be flat. And my h2b has a lot of angle in the pan now so it won't be too bad, but seriously I would have moved it forward about 1.5 inches further.
So I ordered flywheel bolts from QSD last Tuesday, they showed up on Friday. Those guys rock!! Gonna bolt up that crap tonight
Its in!!!! But its coming back out cuz some idiot put the spacer on the wrong side of the pulley:doh: I meant to swap it around before putting it in the car but forgot about it untill I tried bolting up the driver side mount. Back out she'll come, going to move the oil drain:lmfao:, window weld the mounts, and tonight I'll test fit my header since I left it at work this weekend.

Suprised by the amount of hood clearance. Wont take much to make it close

good stuff man
Good stuff, looks a lot like mine when I was installing it.
The tags are also funny to this thread.
Yes they are!!! Do you know which starter is the proper one? I have an Ls and one from a B18C5. I think the one with the teeth slightly covered up is the correct one but the pic on H-T is no longer there. I could search but figured I'd ask you first. My pre-production header doesnt fit at all so Im flying blind a bit on the mods to it today. Hopefully I'll be tuning this thing by the end of the month.
I have a b16 starter on mine. No problems on getting it started. I'd like to see a graph. GL
Sounds good, I guess if it doesnt work I'll just try the other one, thanks. I dont know if it will see a dyno or not, track numbers for sure though.
got a lot of stuff goin on there, id like to see how this IM works out. keep it up
