Only if it's an SS and you can afford it. With dealer mark up on both models the V6 really isn't worth it, especially considering you could get a slightly used C6 Corvette for what a lot of dealers are selling the base model for.

Of the newer muscle cars I love the Challenger SRT-8 the best, unless you put the Cobra in.

Never been a big Chevy fan, but I read some amazing things about the SS. So if you like Camaros I say do it. They look awesome on the road, and sound so good.

I really like the SS. I entertained the idea of trading in the Evo for one. Then I came to my senses.

Look at the price of the SRT-8 compared to the SS, and it has the same HP (1-2 less).

But........you should wait a couple more months, they are starting to get out in good numbers now. In a few months the dealer mark ups will be gone. You can get into one for around $32k then, now you're looking at $45-$49K depending on options and stock. The SRT-8 starts at $42k, you can get a fully loaded 2SS for that or less.

These numbers are in the city of course, some places claim to be selling at MSRP.....but not around ATL.

i dont like chevy myself but if you did get one wait another year or so cause they have to improve on all the mistakes of the first batch and make sure no recalls or defects.

That too, right now the Camaro's are snapping output shafts......Tremac had a bad batch of materials......effecting some other cars too.
