Its not that fast. It's not even close to an Evo or Sti in anything. It handles like a boat with a half decent suspension and doesn't have enough power for the weight to be considered any kind of sport sedan. Yea its faster than the old ones but not fast by any means in todays standards.

I was thinking it would end up like that. I am also not a fan of the 6-speed slushbox as the only transmission option.

It is also very very very bland looking.

Really? Since when is 360hp not fast? Not to mention it's trapping the same as the Evo X in the 1/4 mile...

Since its put in a car that weighs nearly 4400lbs. Yea its a beast, its huge. The Evo isn't exactly fast either. Drive one hard and its pretty quick, the Taurus isn't at all. It handles like a 4400lb car with brakes that are way to small for any performance driving. Everyone says the Supras are pigs but Ford makes a sedan that weighs several hundred pounds more and makes about the same power and all of a sudden that's fast. Sorry but it takes more than a commercial and a decent engine to make something fast. I fully agree that it should have been put in the Fusion, that would have been a sweet car. This is marketed as a performance sedan but its not, its just a portly sedan with just enough power to keep up with itself. BMW has had engines making that kind of power in the 5 series for some time now, they're just as fast, nicer, and truly depicted as nothing more than a luxury sedan with the power to keep up. I'm glad Ford finally caught up to what they've been shooting at for years but its nothing more than the same old same in the market they're aiming at.
