Default quick question bout an h22 lude

I really like the h22 even though their heavy cars. I wanted to kno if the engine is a good realiable engine that's gonna last? If the engine was to break down or need maintanance are the parts for it affordable? Does it perform well? Is da lude worth getting bcuz I like the 07-99 models would it be an ok choice for a first tuner?

Yes-It's a Honda engine so it will last as long as you keep regular maintenance up. If you are going to boost, it's not that boost friendly,
Yes-Those engines are plentiful now especially with everyone wanting a K-series right now. So even if you have to get a new engine it's not bad. Parts are plentiful just like other Honda engines.
Yes-Performance wise it's no slouch 200hp and about 167tq at the flywheel.
Whether it's a good car for your first "tuner" is up to you. What are your goals? Are you going to do most of the work yourself? Looking for Performance or Looks? Daily Driver? BUDGET?????

parts are common and for that engine it may be cheaper to buy JDM than rebuilding.

umm..dont boost h22 without building it...

i think the walls are FRM...
i love h22s...if i had unlimited funds, i would send my motor to bisimoto for their c2 package...

sleeve block, bore& stroke..forged block internals, build the head ...
    turbo that bitch
i think you should hit 1000 hp no problem...bisimoto guarantees it..and i doubt they even bore and stroke...

    h22s are awesome..only 50 lbs heavier than b series..im sure..
